Dixon Yacht Design is 21 years old this year. 21 years which have seen the company grow to become one of the leading yacht design companies in the world. Bill Dixon, the company's founder, was working for Angus Primrose as a naval architect when following the sad death of Angus in 1981 Bill, as a very young man, was thrown in at the deep end! He kept swimming and more importantly he kept the clients that Angus had gained over the years, including Moody Yachts. To Moody's during the 1980's was added Taswell Yachts, Johnson Motor Yachts, and in more recent times Royal Denship, and Pearl Motor Yachts.
